Artist INC Express is a three-day intensive workshop created to address the specific business needs and challenges artists of all disciplines face every day.

Building upon Artist INC’s experience working with hundreds of artists in the Midwest region through its core Artist INC Live seminar, Artist INC Express is designed to focus participants on learning the most essential skills in the shortest amount of time and to bring regional artists together and create a supportive arts community.

Mid-America Arts Alliance, in partnership with the Arkansas Arts Council, will host a workshop dedicated to bringing creatives together statewide to build professional development skills. Led by professional artist facilitators, the workshop is highly interactive and includes activities and discussions focused on goal setting, writing about your work, and building a personal brand – the building blocks for a sustainable art practice and a successful arts business. Artist INC Express immediately activates a network of artists in their community leading to additional peer to peer resource sharing and support long after the workshop concludes.

The workshop is open to all Arkansas creative workers for free. Registration is required.

** By registering for this workshop, you are committing to all three sessions of the workshop.

Program Fees: There is no cost to attend the workshop. Once you register, you are expected to attend all three days of the workshop. Because seats are limited (20), please notify us in advance so we can open up the seat to artists on the wait list!

*Please be mindful that each participant will be taking up a seat that would otherwise benefit another artist. The cost of the program is $200 per participant; in response to the current pandemic and the financial strain to many family and artists, we are waiving the cost for participants. Once again, seats are limited - registered only if you are fully committed to attend.
