Damen Tolbert is an instructor at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and is director of Sound Recording Technology, Applied Woodwinds and Music Education. He has extensive experience in the art of music management and business -- from mixing music in the studio to budgeting and running a live music venue. Tolbert has created and performed at virtual and in-person events as a musician, organizer, producer and businessman.
GetSmART! is a series of Arkansas Arts Council workshops that cover art related topics for individual artists and arts organizations. The program is designed to provide training and networking opportunities to Arkansas creators and arts supporters.
