Pinnacle Mountain State Park, Pinnacle Valley Road, Little Rock
The tall Pinnacle Mountain that stands as the namesake of this Arkansas State Park has been a
prominent landmark in Central Arkansas for generations of Native Americans and early European settlers in Arkansas. As early as the 1820s, locals visited the mountain for recreation and hiking. Today, the park focuses on preserving the natural landscape around the mountain while also providing recreational and educational opportunities for visitors. The park also includes remnants of several historic homesites that were purchased when the park was created in the mid-1970s.
