Erica Campbell to headline 17th Annual Arkansas Delta Family Gospel Fest

Delta Cultural Center - Monday, April 24, 2017

Recording artist and radio host Erica Campbell will headline the 17th Annual Arkansas Delta Family Gospel Fest on Saturday, May 20. This free event will run from noon to 7 p.m. on the Cherry Street Pavilion in downtown Helena.

Campbell brings her style of urban contemporary gospel to the Cherry Street Pavilion for the first time. She began her music career in 1998 with her younger sister as part of the gospel music duo Mary Mary. The duo garnered numerous honors, including Grammy Awards, Dove Awards, American Music Awards and a BET award.

Campbell’s solo career began in 2013 and her success continued as she released recordings to high acclaim. In 2014, Campbell received the Grammy for Best Gospel Album.

Based in Atlanta, singer/songwriter/producer Canton Jones also graces the Pavilion stage for the first time. Over the course of his career he has earned a Grammy nomination and has been the recipient of three Gospel Choice Awards.

The Ramp’s Chosen will bring an energy to the stage that is infectious, with dance moves that will appeal to young people and engage the entire audience.

Rounding out the lineup are Shenna Walker, Bishop Kenny Robinson & Chosen, the Eternal Light Singers, the Gospel Wonders, Vernon Davis and Friends, and the Fullness of Joy Choir. As an added treat, the audience will be entertained by the Delta Cultural Center Youth Choir.
