the Term Biological Diversity (Grades K-12)
Glossary Arkansas
Natural Heritage Commission (AHNC) staff, upon request, will work
with educators and students to provide information on Arkansas's
natural diversity, including rare plants, animals, and special
natural communities. All programming is absolutely free.
Resources available include:
- Hands-on programming by ANHC staff, using taxidermy, models,
and craft activities
- Lesson plans and activity guides from a variety of
environmental education sources
- Book lists and reference guides
- Maps and images, including posters
- Videos, audio tapes and CD-ROMs

program or workshop, or researching a topic, contact the Education
