Arkansas Food Trucks

Department of Arkansas Heritage - Thursday, January 04, 2018

The food truck culture in Arkansas continues to thrive, with new trucks, unique styles and diverse ingredients popping up across the state. The Arkansas Food Hall of Fame celebrates these quick, genius tastes and appreciates the nominations of your local favorites! Whether you’re looking for a great burger, an ice cream sandwich, beignets, BBQ or noodles, there’s an Arkansas food truck worth your drive.

Don’t miss one of the food truck parks or meet-ups in your area. Try out the Conway Food Truck Park or go to Shulertown in Fayetteville. In Little Rock, head to the Hillcrest Farmers Market every Saturday, the Main Street Food Truck Fridays in the spring, the Main Street Food Truck Festival, or one of the other weekday meet-ups to tantilize your tastebuds with tasty options.

The key with food trucks is actually finding them. Most trucks have a social media account where they post daily location information and/or specials. It’s easy to see these trucks’ fans are loyal and will follow their cravings around town!

One of our Arkansas Food Hall of Fame favorites was a 2017 People’s Choice nominee, Excaliburger, located in Little Rock. Founded in 2011 by Kyle Pounders, this truck focuses on great burgers with fresh ingredients. No wonder it was nominated as a People’s Choice!

No matter where your tastebuds take you, Arkansas’s food trucks will not disappoint. We love exploring the tastes and traditions of our unique state. That’s what the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame is all about. We applaud these foodie entrepreneurs who are bringing their mouthwatering dishes to the people! Now, where to next?
